Dr. Mark Liebetreu graduated from Ferris State University College of Optometry, furthered his professional experience at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami and trained internationally at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden.

Dr. Liebetreu specializes in routine eye care and pre- and post-op care for patients suffering from a wide range of eye conditions. Dr. Liebetreu offers a variety of treatment options using the latest technology to ensure your best possible vision. With an eye exam, he can determine which option is best for you.

Dr. Liebetreu was born and raised in Michigan. His wife, also an optometrist, is from Louisville. They have two sons.

Dr. Liebetreu enjoys their family’s annual trip to the Florida Keys where he can scuba dive, spearfish and catch lobsters, as well as vacations to Michigan, North Carolina and the Rocky Mountains. He is an instrument rated private pilot and even built his own amphibious seaplane.

Dr. Mark Liebetreu has been treating me since I came for eye treatment to this facility for several years now. He is a very caring and excellent doctor.
